The Tarmac Kisser.

This highway called life, sometimes you have to fall flat on your face. And when you do, don't forget to kiss it before you rise again. :*

Updates.

It’s been almost a month and a half since I went bald. My ‘endangered species’ hair, ever so reluctant to grow back have brought some more of their grey-white friends. College term is almost over. Or maybe it is already over, I haven’t been to too many classes over the past couple of weeks. I have been pulling far too many all-nighters, and that doesn’t seem to be doing me any good. Like this irritating cold I contracted today morning. It’s one of those things that destroy a perfectly fine Sunday morning, not to mention the festive mood and whatever little left of my will to study.

Among other things, I managed to finish work on the college tech-fest website (with huge inputs from some friends and some other err..people). Check it out here Website (Click here). If you are wondering, why does it lead to the webmasters page with my face on it, well that’s because I know the website doesn’t mean shYt to most of you. However since you are on my blog, it would make some sense to see my face first, and then if you are interested you’d click here and there. Also because I am an internet fame hungry wolf. I even went so far as to put up my name on the Gallery page (click here). And why not, after all I took all the pics display in the gallery. And if you have a problem with that, you can bugger off.

Some of the other new things I did are, I took up a new name. Short nick name kinda thing. SID. So you folks can call me Sid, if you like. No, not from the stupid movie with the same name. Thing is, people made a lot of variations of my name which in case you’ve forgotten is Sudipta Das. Sudi, Sudi baba, Sudip, Sud, Su, Sup, Sudu, Soodi blah blah. It had become a herculean task to keep track of all the weird variations and respond to each one of them. So Sid seemed like a good option. At least it has all the letters in the right order as in my name and is easy to pronounce and remember.

And finally, yesterday on Diwali I sent a multicoloured mail wishing everyone on my mailing list a very happy Diwali and cheers to life and shyt. I have no idea why I did such a thing, but I guess it’s something everyone does once in a while when they are depressed and have nothing better to do to kill time and anxiety on a public holiday when they are at home, hungry and alone. x_o

Later

PS:I also caught the Twitterbug. O_o

Does it look too weird?
